The day started out perfectly, free parking on Sunday, crisp, cold and dry weather to walk around in, really amazing food and coffee (boat street kitchen), shopping (new H&M!!), a tour of the Seattle Library (amazing architecture) and again more good food (wild ginger).
We also got to meet up with Blake, a fellow TEFL kid and english teacher in Prague. So fun to see him after 3 years!
By the time it was getting dark it started raining, then snowing.. not the romantic, pretty snow but the half-rain, slushy snow that leaves you wet and cold. It never crossed my mind though that we'd have to DRIVE home in it! The drive home was really slow, with loud rain on the windshield the entire trip. It was a great day though and really good company. I'm glad it worked to go and see people I don't usually get to see.
