Things and people and places that have made me happy this summer:
So Will is one of my best friends in the world. We met in Prague and have stayed close ever since. He now lives in Kenya, in a big fat farmhouse, working for an organization that runs a children's center and a farm, and they host a lot of work teams and groups that come to help (was I close, Will?) The other day I got to meet his girlfriend Kim. She's kind of an Oregon girl, graduated from George Fox and Portland State. Small world. She's headed back to Kenya (and Will) in 8 days, where she teaches 5th grade. It was so great to meet a girl that's so perfect for Will!
More of Africa! Seth and Trina are home for 1 month, all the way from Burundi, where Seth is a filmmaker and Trina works for the NGO World Relief. They are 2 of my favorite people and we are all obsessed with the 2-man group Storyhill who happened to be in town last weekend. Yay for perfect timing!

Give me a hotel robe and I'm good for hours. Katie and I went up to Seattle to see the city and a friend from Prague, Kristin. We stayed downtown.. so fun!
