just ask katie, politics are not my favorite. they're too divisive and it makes me sad that we can't all agree. i realize i'm ridiculous. but sunday i went to the obama rally in portland where we wound around city blocks, slowly making it closer to the water where the security would take away my swiss army knife (the low of the day). it felt big (i mean the line was like 10 blocks long), but i could not believe the numbers that showed up, and the pictures are amazing! 60,000 people and 15,000 waiting outside! what?
he had really good things to say, although he went into little detail. what he said was actually really refreshing to hear. my only complaint was the "us" and "them" language (dems/reps).. see, the divisiveness again. and not being a registered democrat, i wondered if i'd get beat up. but no one asked, so it was cool. definitely an experience! oregon hearts obama.. we'll see who america hearts very soon!

Oh my gosh, that is amazing. I can't believe how many people were there. Wow. My friend from high school works for Obama's brother-in-law or something and sent me an email of a full-out just her and Obama picture. It was pretty cool.
I know very little about Obama...or McCain for that matter. I am a horrible American citizen.
